“Better Building Ideas from PFB” are insulation materials that enable our customers and building owners to reduce consumption of scarce natural resources, reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere and reduce waste at building sites.

Better Buildings Ideas from PFB

From its inception, PFB has been committed to the future of our planet and the effect that modern lifestyles may be having on it.

At the core of each PFB product is Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), which is not only manufactured without emitting any ozone-depleting gases, but is simply the best answer for insulating buildings in the “green” world.

We have a strong energy conservation story to tell; one that homebuilders and building owners are becoming increasingly hungry for, both in Canada and the United States.

PFB products use technologies that consume the least amount of energy resources during their manufacturing process. Our products provide excellent cost-effective insulating qualities that reduce energy consumption, and lessen the release of harmful emissions into the atmosphere. Our marketing initiatives will have two goals. One is to link the various products we produce under a single umbrella, enabling us to effectively cross-market Plasti-Fab®, Advantage ICF Systems®, Insulspan® Structural Insulating Panels (SIPS) and Riverbend® Timber Framing. The second goal is to impart a solid “green” image on each of the product lines that identifies them with PFB and the suite of programs such as LEED, Energy Star and Built Green, to which we are committed.
